Summary
Palace Slave: The Captive Flower
In the kingdom of Kōzui, Crown Prince Ji Senken is driven out and nearly killed, surviving only thanks to the sacrifice of Setsurin. Having narrowly escaped death herself, Setsurin hides her identity and begins living within the royal palace as a lowly servant. Six years later, Ji Senken returns to Kōzui. For some reason, he finds himself strangely drawn to one particular palace slave. Believing this servant to be a man, he nonetheless sinks deeper and deeper into obsession—and then into love. Amid power struggles and revenge that shake the imperial court, the forbidden love between a prince and a “palace slave” moves toward its uncertain fate.
